Astro Space Gems Version 0.20 Prototype

GAMEPLAY

Control the character and move to collect gems. The objective is to stay alive for as long as possible. Avoid frontal contact with the enemies that appear. Enemies move around the environment up and down the screen and are able to collect gems. When collecting gems, enemies gain more speed. Defeat enemies by jumping on them. Start the game with three extra lives and gain a new extra life for every 250 points gained. The game ends when you lose all your lives.

CONTROLS

Control: Control of the game is done using the arrow keys on the keyboard. The control also supports movement using the WASD standard keys.

Horizontal Movement: The player moves the character to the right and left using the corresponding arrow keys.

Jump: To jump, the player uses the up arrow key.

Attack: By jumping on enemies, the player can defeat them.

COLLECTION OF ITEMS

To collect the jewels, the player simply collides with them.

POINTS

Points and Record are located in the upper right corner of the screen. For each match, the points are reset, keeping a record of the highest number of points obtained in a match.

LIVES

The player's extra life count is indicated in the upper left part of the screen through small character icons. The number of icons represents the number of extra lives available.

DANGERS

 Collision with Enemies: Head-on contact with enemies causes the player to lose a life.

Astro Space Gems Prelude takes advantage of the prototype's mechanics and enhances the look with more elaborate characters. Additionally, new mechanics are implemented to create a more engaging and immersive experience.
